About Sewin' Owen

Hello, my name is Owen Wholley and I'm the Owen behind Sewin' Owen!

As an avid skier and snowboarder, I started my career making and designing ski equipment, from skis themselves to soft goods like backpacks and technical apparel. As life progressed I have moved professionally from the ski industry to the marine industry, finding my niche in the marine fabrication specialty. 

At heart I am a mathematical nerd, fascinated with challenges associated with shape and space that marine fabrication presents. For example, one of the challenges routinely faced by the marine fabricator is how to take a 2-dimensional material like fabric and shape it into three dimensions often found in boat canvas and upholstery.

I bring an incredible attention to detail and an unrelenting commitment to the highest standard of craftsmanship to my work.
